  1. Great list – hard to choose but many were here. Out of Africa would join that list as well as Top Gun and The Year of Living Dangerously.

  2. Well, these are always difficult but guess what? We have 2 of the same and almost 3! Taxi Driver and Annie Hall are also on my list and Sunset Boulevard sits right outside it. I won’t list all my others but The Godfather is #1, and I am a HUGE fan of the obscure O Lucky Man!

  4. Amazing that there is only one of your top 10 I’ve seen (Taxi Driver, and agree). Thank you, although I few of these have been on my list for…decades 🙂

  5. There’s a local author here (Iain Reid) who wrote a book, I’m Thinking of Ending Things, that Kaufman is going to turn into a film.
I’m excited to see what he does with it – and I’m now intrigued to see Synecdoche, New York too, I somehow missed that one!

  6. Some great flicks there. Quite difficult to think of my own 10, but here’s some I can think of right now (and I’m omitting Star Wars for this exercise): Big Lebowski, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, Carlito’s Way, Heat, Pacific Rim, The Good, The Bad & The Ugly, The Artist, Momento, Tyrannosaur, and Out for Justice.
